Trust.

One word but it holds a lot of power. When someone says they trust you, it means they're letting you see a part of them that they don't show others. The vulnerable side of them, the side that could easily be broken.

Unfortunately, some people take this for granted and they don't really understand what it means to upon up to someone. They end up playing the other and break their trust. Do you know how much this might affect them? They won't be able to trust another person that easily, they're always going to think a hundred times before they do. Questions like "will this person do the same thing that the last person did?" or "what if he/she uses me?".

It's hard to find people who you can truly trust nowadays. Sometimes, you can even trust your own best friend or family member because they don't understand how hard it is to trust others.

For those of you who have broken people's trust, I hope you have learned from your mistakes. And for those of you who find it hard to trust others, in time you will be able to trust again. It may seem impossible but know that nothing is impossible. (except putting toothpaste back in the tube)

Sincerely,
That one brown girl.
